Né de notre amour des Oiseaux, le Messager Sagittaire est l'extraordinaire Muse de cette si belle Aventure. Échassier de notre Terre, à mi chemin entre le réel et l'Imaginaire, étant l'inspiration première de l'emblématique Phoenix, le Messager Sagittaire porte en lui toute la poésie nécessaire à la création d'un pur Trésor.
L'ensemble comporte une Boîte et une Baguette Magique.
La boîte est réalisée en bois et cuir, sublimée par une Marqueterie du Messager Sagittaire. L'utilisation de plusieurs essences de bois a été la clef de la création sur plusieurs semaines des détails du plumage de l'oiseau. Chêne, sycomore, loupe d'érable, ivoire végétal, platane, loupe d'orme et tulipier ont été travaillés en utilisant différentes techniques, afin de créer la palette de couleurs parfaites, le volume et la prestance de ce si bel oiseau, jouant avec les différentes veines et finitions de chacun des bois. Un Velour brun foncé daté de 1910 des anciennes manufactures de Lyon complète cet écrin par une finition antique digne de ce Trésor.
Nichée au coeur de cet écrin se révèle La Baguette Magique, tournée et sculptée dans des loupes de bouleau et d’érable stabilisées, pour un travail de couleurs directement présent dans les veines du bois, sublimant ainsi les motifs de chacune des essences choisies. Le corps de la baguette a été travaillé dans un bois somptueux de frêne, agé de 80 ans, provenant de la forêt de Compiègne. Cette baguette, créée sur plus d’une semaine, porte en elle, que ce soit par ses bois précieux, ses couleurs contrastées et éclatantes, ainsi que ses formes magestueuses, toute la poésie et l’élégance du Messager Sagittaire aux airs de Phoenix. D’une longueur de 39cm, cette Baguette se pose parfaitement au coeur de sa Boîte en bois, sublimée par son reflet en marqueterie, un Trésor complet de son Ecrin à sa Baguette.

‘The Messenger of the Imaginary’
Collaboration between a Marquetry Maker and a Wand Maker [Alliance d’Essences & Sarahecmilla]
Born from our love of Birds, the Sagittarius Messenger is the extraordinary Muse of this beautiful Adventure. Stilt walker of our Earth, halfway between the real and the Imaginary, primary inspiration of the emblematic Phoenix, the Secretary Bird carries within him all the poetry needed for the creation of a pure Treasure.
The set includes a Box and a Magic Wand.
The box is made of wood and leather, enhanced by a Secretary Bird Marquetry inlay. The use of several types of wood was the key to creating the details of the bird's plumage over several weeks. Oak, sycamore, maple burl, vegetal ivory, plane tree, elm burl and tulip tree have been worked using different techniques, in order to create the perfect color palette, the volume and the presence of this beautiful bird, playing with the different grain patterns and finishes of each wood. A dark brown velvet dated from 1910 from the old Lyon factories completes the case with an antique finish worthy of this Treasure.
Nestled in the heart of this Treasure Box reveals The Magic Wand, turned and sculpted in a stabilized birch burl and a maple burl, for a work of colors directly present in the veins of the wood, thus sublimating the patterns of each of the chosen species. The body of the wand was crafted from sumptuous ash wood, aged 80 years, from the Compiègne forest. This wand, created over more than a week, carries within it, whether through its precious woods, its contrasting and vibrant colors, as well as its majestic shapes, all the poetry and elegance of the Phoenix-like Secretary Bird. With a length of 39cm, this Magic Wand sits perfectly in the heart of its Wooden Box, sublimated by its marquetry reflection, a complete Treasure from its Case to its Wand.
